Nowadays, the term “hobo” is mostly used in a derogatory way to describe drunks and homeless people who don’t want to work. However, the original meaning of the term “hobo” was initially used in the late 18th century to described impoverished migratory workers in the United States. I created identity system based on the hobo code, a pictorial language used by migratory workers to communicate during the late 18th century in America.
